Determined, caring, passionate!

Why CrossFit ?
Why not I say ?? It’s fun and you get to do cool stuff. You get to escape from your everyday life for one hour to learn new things, lift heavy things, smile and laugh with like minded people and high five each other at the end !!

Why coach CrossFit ?
I have always been passionate about teaching people how to move better and how to live a healthier lifestyle. Nothing fires me up more than helping someone not be able to sit up without their hands, to be able to squat with a barbell, or helping someone get their 1st pull up. That to me is the best job in the world… next to being a mum.

Least favourite wod:
17.5… and if that comes up in the open 2018 I will cry and there will be real tears.

Coaching Tip:
Be coachable !!! Things take time, everyone is on their own path, rock the path your on and forget about anyone else.

Qualifications:
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2)
First Aid & CPR
Cert III and IV in Fitness
Kettlebell Level One Instructor
Bachelor Hotel Management & HR

I feel like a broken record these days telling this to people. One of the things I appreciate about CrossFit is the constant desire and goal to find the best possible stimulus and adaptation to improve our fitness.  If you look at the evolution of workouts from the early 2000's till now they are quite different. One of the places I think our entire community can grow is the thought process, expectations on self or others, and ego on "RX". It's old school terminology in our gym and we often don't hear it anymore because the truth is you are going to gain more fitness over time if you maintain the stimulus of the workout. If programmed well, the intensity is often one of the main goals of a workout. Even if it's at varying levels.  And if you went to your L1 you know that intensity is what gives you results. If you maintain this my bet is you have more longevity, more results, and more fun!β €
